Welcome to the Perry-dise!

That may seem a little exaggerated, but road tripping is actually my favorite at this time, and I am so lucky to live in a country that has so many incredible road trip routes. One of these routes in particular is my favorite and that is the incredible drive from Miami to Key West.

We recommend to stay at The Perry Hotel Key West. It’s a newer hotel located on Stock Island home to 220-slip boat slips, the largest deep-water marina in the Keys, that’s minutes away from downtown Key West.

It’s a cool hotel, perfect if you’re looking for a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Key West, but still close enough where you can take a quick 10-minute drive across the bridge to Old Town Key West.

The Perry Hotel Key West offers free shuttle service to and from Mallory Square in Old Town every hour until 9pm. This way, guests don’t have to worry about taxis, parking, or drawing straws to see who’s the designated driver. We took it a lot to Duval street and saved money on Ubers.

While you are at the Perry Hotel you can rent these super cute aquamarine scooters! It is the perfect way to explore Key West.

The nautical decor in cool blues and browns create a calming atmosphere that make guests feel immediately relaxed the moment they walk into the lobby. I really loved it’s unique architectural design, contemporary furnishings and rustic touches.I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a more aesthetically pleasing place than the Perry Hotel Key West.

Most rooms are graced with gorgeous waterfront views. Half the rooms in this upscale boutique hotel are facing a gorgeous pool and a marina and the other half are facing a saltwater lagoon and mangroves. Rooms, balance old and new, with reclaimed materials in the décor, comfy beds and state of the art technology.

The beds and pillows were amazing, with both firm and soft pillow options. Another perk: full size shampoo and conditioner that smelled wonderful! It’s really the little things that go a long way.

The Perry Hotel Key West. itself is a destination all on its own. Hungry? No need to call for pizza. You can enjoy creative, fresh food options from two restaurants, Matt’s Stock Island Kitchen & Bar and The Salty Oyster. Browse the adjacent art studios, take a chartered boat trip, and live in total relaxation all without leaving the property. We loved relaxing in the hammocks.

Anytime is pool time in Key West. Sit back in a comfy chair, take a dip in the crystal-clear water and order a cocktail which handcrafts drinks with local rum. We spent a lot of time at the pool that has a beautiful view of the marina.

We loved how convenient it was to go on boating excursions with the marina just steps away! If you want to get out on the water you can choose from fishing, diving, sunset sails, dolphin cruises and more. The travel concierge was super helpful helping us pick out what activities to do. Don’t miss to take a ferry or seaplane to Dry Tortugas National Park.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it. We hope to plan a trip to go back soon! Tank you The Perry Hotel Key West for the amazing stay.
