Oh staycation, how I needed and loved you. I love taking staycations from time to time. I’ve been lucky enough that Miami is a location that allows for easy year round staycations. Nothing better than getting through the week knowing an amazing reward awaits. For me, that was a weekend staycation at Hyatt Centric Brickell.

The Hyatt Centric Brickell hotel is in the heart of downtown Miami, is located one block east of bustling Brickell Avenue, with its skyscraping office towers, condos and hotels and that one block makes a difference. While you’re still positioned in the heart of Brickell’s Financial District, the hotel’s location on Brickell Bay Drive is set against Biscayne Bay and has a calmer, more residential feel. It’s an easy walk to the best restaurants and shopping in Brickell. South Beach is approximately a 20-minute drive away by car.
Rooms are spacious with modern, clean lines in a palette of white, light grey, dark wood and navy blue. Artwork depicting scenes from Havana. Overall, the rooms are bright and sun-filled, with private balconies overlooking either the city skyline or the bay.

The hotel has a large pool deck with a wet bar on the 19th floor, with a great view of the Brickell bay where you can relax in the lounge chairs while sipping one of the refreshing cocktails.
They also have a jacuzzi on the side if you want even more relaxation.

The hotel has a Cuban influence, (my favorite part) from the food and drinks of the Caña Restaurant to the art pieces and photos.
The centerpiece of the second floor restaurant is a colorful mural by local artist Francisco Cerón depicting familiar scenes and symbols of both Miami and Cuba.

There’s no place to relax or explore Miami like Hyatt Centric Brickell in my opinion. It’s just good energy. I promise you won’t regret it. The best of Miami’s cosmopolitan-tropical vibe.

I love Hyatt so much ! The perfect location
